We have had an amazing Christmas this year. The Champion side of the family celebrated Christmas at my sister's house (Carol). We all gathered at their new house in Hayneville and it was lots of fun catching up and sharing memories from past years. Unfortunately, our photographer was unable to attend (she was at the Rockettes with William); therefore, we do not have any pictures from that Christmas celebration.
There are two parts to this post because our photographer had too many photos that she wanted to share.
PART I-
After having a photo shoot with Laura Cameron's new camera, we headed to the Christmas Eve Vespers service at our church. After the service, we went to Nina's house (Britt's aunt) in Sardis to celebrate Christmas with the Mott family. Everybody was there!
Nina gave the boys these toboggans and we had so much fun watching them show off their new hats.
PART II
On Christmas morning, Laura Cameron, was the first one to wake up. Once we got Elizabeth to get out of the bed, we opened gifts.
We got Britt a Garmin watch that he has been wanting for a while. His new hobby is running and this is something that all of his "running gang" has...he was VERY surprised so we were happy that we kept it a secret!
Laura Cameron's favorite gifts were probably all of her new teacher supplies that she got. She is in love with buying teacher/school supplies. Elizabeth is sporting her new vest that she loves and she also got GLEE season 1 (which has kept her occupied since Christmas morning).
After opening presents, we ate our traditional Christmas quiche breakfast. Britt made this while the girls were opening presents.
For lunch we headed to the Mott's(Granny and Grandaddy) house for yet another Christmas meal. When we got back home, everyone crashed for their afternoon naps. Elizabeth and Laura Cameron had fun watching Glee episodes, while Britt watched the SEC Championship game again and I read my new book Playing with a Purpose: Sam Bradford, Tim Tebow, and Colt McCoy, my favorite boys. I hope you all had a Merry Christmas!
